Beginning sewing is a 5 session class meeting once a week for 5 weeks. Basic skills of sewing will be covered over the five week period. These skills include learning the basic anatomy of a sewing machine, straight stitches, zig-zags, and other things a machine might do, how to read, comprehend, and follow a pattern, the handwork (hems, buttons, whip stitching, and more). This will be a hands on learning experience meaning participants will DO as they learn. *

*You may bring your own machine or reserve one of ours. Price does NOT include machine reservation fee. Fee for reserving a machine is $5 per session ($25 for the course)
*Price does not include supplies. Options (patterns, fabric choice. Etc.) for hands on learning projects will be available and paid for as used.
